Welcome to Tooth Works
Tooth Works, operating from Invercargill, is one of the largest practices in the South Island with a team of six dentists, both male and female. We also have a dental hygienist to provide cleaning and preventative care and advice. Duchenne Dental Services are located within the same building, providing full and partial denture services. Most importantly, we are Southland-owned by a dentist with 20 years experience in Southland. Tooth Works aims to offer a good standard of general dentistry in a modern setting, within a caring and supportive environment; we are not a faceless company or franchise.

Tooth Works is Invercargill's newest independent dental practice, led by Dr. Hilary Strang, who brings twenty-four years of experience in the dental profession to her practice.
She has treated patients in Invercargill since 1995 and has grown Tooth Works with the help of her excellent team.
Hilary Strang
Principal Dentist
Hilary Strang graduated with a B.D.S.from Otago University in 1991. She has worked as a dentist in Southland since 1995.
Nick Truman
Dentist
Nick graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Otago in 2006. He splits his time as dentist between working at Southland Hospital and Tooth Works.
Kate Tiriaere
Dentist
Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago in 2008 and has since worked in hospital, community and private dental practice in Southland.
Kelvin Khoo
Dentist
Kelvin graduated from the University of Otago in 2013 and has worked in the private sector now for 5 years. He enjoys dentistry and strives to provide quality treatment in all aspects of dental care.
